Take the Cake by Kay is an expert in creating unique and gorgeous cakes in the Kansas City area that specializes in tall cakes. Tall cakes are showstoppers that “Wow” your guests. These cakes are unique and make for a perfect centerpiece for any special occasion. Each cake is decorated with a custom design to make it a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Take the Cake by Kay is known for her ability to turn cakes into a work of art. Kay’s cakes have even been on display at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City.
Take the Cake by Kay had the pleasure of making a custom birthday cake for Pro Football Hall of Famer, Troy Aikman. Fox NFL contacted Take the Cake by Kay and asked for a cake as special as the quarterback. After some back and forth with the Fox NFL team the cake came together showcasing what Mr. Aikman does best, play football. Included in the cake is the “game ball”, his jersey number which is 8, the football field and of course a star for the all star player. What a thrill it was to create a custom football cake for the legendary Cowboy right here in Chiefs Kingdom.
